Hello, I'm Lucy!

Just an ordinary girl on a journey to make the most out of this life, collecting as many memories as I can along the way.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably catch me in my happy place: daydreaming, lazing around, nose-deep in books/manga/manhwa, or being a couch potato. Occasionally, my creative side wakes up and decides we’re going to draw, paint, or craft something… although I wouldn’t say I’m good in that department.

I’m easily fascinated by the unknown, so topic like topics like constellations, witchcraft, aliens, deep-sea mysteries, and the wonders of mother nature always draw me in.

I love traveling, and if I could, I’d be on the road all year round. But life doesn’t quite work that way — I have a full-time role managing an engineering team and a full-time mom to a lovable duo: my only son and my adopted “son” aka my hubby.

My biggest dream? To live on my own terms, following my passions whenever inspiration strikes. Still a work in progress.

Favorite Phrase: Love yourself!
Somewhere in my late 20s, I stopped caring what people thought and started actually doing things for me. As time goes by, I’ve come to fully embrace the phrase and realize that when you put yourself first, everything else falls into place, bringing more happiness than you ever imagined.

About This Blog

I hit the big 4-0 a while back, and not gonna lie—it scared the life out of me. I  mean… I’ve been roaming the world for four decades? And then, just like in a movie, my life flashed back through the past four decades. Four decades filled with stories, laughter, pain, growth… yet I can barely remember half of it! And that scare the shit out of me.

So, I thought I should start writing down the highlights of my week, things that fascinate me and random discoveries I find interesting. Kinda like a way to record my thoughts, moods, and feelings at this moment…you know, before I became dementia.

This blog is a time capsule I’ve created for my future self. I picture myself, years down the road, a bit older and grayer, sitting in a cozy café with a cup of tea—or maybe by the beach with a beer in hand—scrolling through these posts and taking a warm, nostalgic journey down memory lane. Hopefully, that day is still a long, long way off.

If you’ve wandered onto this blog by chance, I hope a story—or even just a single line—brings a smile to your face. If it does, that’s a small bonus for me. 😉
